We are excited to offer our guests an eco friendly and fun option for exploring
Bellport and the surrounding area. There are three beach cruisers available for guest use on the western side of the house. The bike lock code is "1600". Please use the lock to secure the bikes if you step away from them. We have kids bikes of all sizes upon request- let us know if you need one! Bike use is at your own risk and assumes understanding and acceptance of terms of use below. Helmets are readily available upon request.
Assumption of Risk: I understand and accept that using the bicycle is a HAZARDOUS ACTIVITY, entails unavoidable risk of death, personal injury and loss of or damage to property, and protective gear should be worn. I hereby freely and expressly assume and accept responsibility for any and all risks of harm and/or death while participating in this activity.
Waiver & Release: I (acting for myself and all of my family, heirs, agents, representatives, successors and assigns) specifically release and forever discharge Bellport Inn and Cottage LLC d/b/a Bellport Inn and their officers, agents, owners, members, affiliates, employees, successors and assigns (collectively the “Indemnitee”) from any and all liability or claims for injury, illness, death or loss of or damage to property which I may suffer while using the bicycle and participating in bicycling. This discharge and release specifically includes, but is not limited to, liability or claims for injury, illness, death or damage caused by the negligence of the Indemnitee. Bellport Inn strongly recommends that all bicycle riders wear a helmet that has been properly sized, fitted and fastened according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Indemnity & Hold Harmless: I agree to indemnify and hold Indemnitee harmless, as well as the equipment manufacturers and distributers, for any and all loss or damage I may cause to person or property while engaged in biking and bike-related activities. I understand that I am financially responsible for the replacing/repairing of the bicycle and any of it’s components if any damage occurs while in my use. I acknowledge that I will be charged the full retail value of any rental equipment that is not returned due to loss or theft. I agree to lock-up the bike using the lock provided when not in use.
