Â
Why we love it: Macari is a family run vineyard and the generations of hard work and dedication live through their beautiful assortment of wines. They offer an array of tasting experiences for both small and large groups as well as collaborative dinner experiences with talented chefs. We suggest looking into their events calendar or making tasting reservation, ahead of your stay at the Bellport Inn.   We also carry a limited assortment of products on our marketplace.
Â
Phone: 631-765-6099
Address: 1450 S. Harbor Road, Southold, NY
Â
Why we love it: Rosé fans flock to the North Fork to visit Croteaux, a vineyard who produces exclusively rosé, all day. They are the only US vineyard, committed to growing vinifera grapes for making rosé only! Croteaux’s intentional harvesting yields rewards of crisp, refreshing and dreamy pink wines. Their cozy, Southern France- inspired tasting room and magical garden are no fuss, first come first served. We highly recommend for an impromptu girls trip, or any smaller group outing. We also carry a limited assortment of products on our marketplace.
Â
Phone: 631-298-1942
Address: 35 Cox Neck Road Mattituck, NY 11952
Â
Why we love it: Bridge Lane is as easy breezy as a summer day. They produce six total wines, in small batches, using sustainably farmed grapes. While their craft practices are legit (they are the price point sensitive brainchild of Lieb, one of the region’s premiere wineries), they do not take themselves too seriously. This is a great destination if you want to sip on some tasty wine with friends, pack your own lunch, enjoy some outdoor games and have a good time, free of pretense or intimidation. Reservations and walk in’s welcomed. We also carry a limited assortment of products on our marketplace.

Sparkling Pointe
Phone:Â 631-765-0200
Address: 39750 County Road 48 Southold , NY 11971Â
Â
Why we love it: Located in the idyllic town of Southold, Sparkling Pointe offers a stunning landscape and impressive, sustainably grown grapes. Their wines are produced in the tradition of méthode champenoise, which requires a second fermentation within the bottle, versus a large tank. This age old practice produces incredible tasting notes. Guests can enjoy table service, tours and tastings. Be sure to check their event schedule for the chance to reserve a space at one of their local oyster pairings.Â
Â
Â
Phone:Â 631-734-5111
Address: 17150 Rte. 48 Cutchogue, NY 11935
Â
Why we love it: Boasting the title of Long Island’s Founding Vineyard, Ann Marie and Marco Borghese purchased the original Hargrave Vineyard in 1998 and have since passed along their passion for wine making to their children. They specialize in French varietals and live to share their dedication to tradition with the world. An antique potato barn serves as the tasting room, with rotating art exhibitions. Come for the culture, stay for the award winning wines.

Â
Jamesport
Phone:Â 631-722-5256
Address:Â 1216 Main Road, Rte. 25 Jamesport, NY 11947
Â
Why we love it: Father and son duo Ron Goerler Sr. and Jr. are consistently turning out, travel worthy Merlots, Syrahs and Rieslings, but fortunately they are only thirty minutes from the inn. In peak season they offer winery and grounds tour with a tasting finale for an appropriate $25 per person. Neapolitan style pizza is available at Little Oak Wood- Fired Kitchen, on property.Â
Â
Paumanock
Phone:Â 631) 722-8800
Address: 1074 Main Road (Route 25) Aquebogue, NY 11931
Â
Why We Love it: The Massoud family has taken great care of their 127- acre estate since 1983. They follow traditional, dense vine planting practice, which results in highly concentrated fruit and top quality wine, consisting of Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. They use exclusively estate- grown grapes and have received critical acclaim year after year for their time- honored traditions. Paumanock, the Indigenous American word for Long Island, is only thirty minutes by car from the Bellport Inn.
