Why we love it:  Not only do they offer rentals, lessons and free skate schedule to the public, but hockey enthusiasts can also take in competitive games, featuring the Southampton Hockey League. They have a substantial snack bar for skate fuel and private igloos available, by reservation. 

Tanger Ice Rink- Deer Park

Why we love it:  Two for one Holiday shopping and entertainment!  The ice rink is a great incentive for dragging kids along to the outlets and the whole family can enjoy the festive atmosphere, during the holidays.  Live DJ on Friday night offers a fun, party vibe.

Bald Hill

Why we love it: Previously known as Bald Hill Ski Bowl, the largest ski area to operate on Long Island, the height offers an exciting albeit advanced run for experienced, thrill seekers only!

Why we love it:  Riverhead puts on the largest, drive through light show in Suffolk county.  Enjoy holiday music as you cruise through the impressive displays. You will also feel good about putting your money towards the many non- profit organizations Riverhead Holiday Light Show supports!

Liberty Street House

Why we love it:  Nothing says Christmas spirit like two brothers who have been committed to spreading holiday cheer for 40 consecutive years.  The Barbieri brothers continue to create in their workshop, improving their custom display. All proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Real life Santa’s Little Helpers!

Why we love it:  This non- profit is a great local attraction for all ages interested in experiencing history. Their exhibition offers education on the history and heritage of firefighting in the South Bay.  Vintage firefighting objects are on display alongside a tribute to firefighters passed.  Make sure to call for hours and to request a tour.
