Currency
The currency on the island is the Aruba Florin. U.S. dollars are also accepted. All major credit cards and ATM cards with a Cirrus, MasterCard, Maestro, or Visa logo can be used for payment and to withdraw cash at banks.
Drinking Water
No freshwater can be found on the island, yet we have drinking water of the highest quality. Our seawater is carefully distilled so itās drinkable. No need to buy bottled water. In Aruba, you can drink water straight from the tap, all across the island.
Voltage
In Aruba we use 110 volt, for our European visitors a travel adaptor is recommended to charge your devices with a 220 volt plug.
