TV
Our TVs are controlled by Universal Remotes. Turn the tv on then choose either Apple TV or Cable TV on the screen. To use Cable TV, continue using the Universal Remote. For Apple TV (including Netflix), use the Ipad to control (see below).
IPad
Our in-room IPads are essentially fancy remotes for our Apple TV. If it's not charging on the wall port, we have an extra charger in the left side of the lobby closet for your convenience. With a gentle pull, the IPad will be removed from the wall magnet and you're free to move about the room with it.
Apple TV
Once you switch the TV input to Apple TV with the TV remote, you will now use the IPad to navigate the TV screen. From the IPad's home page, use your finger to swipe open the hidden menu. This can be done by dragging your finger from the top right side of the screen, towards the middle.
When the menu is revealed, select the app with a remote shaped symbol. This will turn the IPad into a remote to navigate Apple TV's menu. Hit MENU to wake up the Apple TV then continue to use the remote to control what you see on the screen.
If you decide to rent a movie, it will be charged directly to your room.
Netflix
While using Apple TV, use the iPad remote to choose your Netflix show or movie. Please do not login/log out of the Lokal account when using.
Sonos
You will need to be connected to the in-room wifi and have bluetooth turned on on your phone.
In your Spotify app, tap on the button located on the lower left corner. The symbol looks like a speaker. (This step is applicable to most music apps).
Select the speaker either with the same name as your suite or called "living room" and get ready to jam!
High-Speed Internet:
Secure hotspot in your room and stairwell so you're always connected. Access instructions under the wi-fi link.
