Weather We have several forecast providers in Norway, but the most commonly used on is Yr.no.  

Please remember though that weather in northern-Norway is infamously hard to predict, mainly due to a huge variation in the topography and polar lows, weather systems notorious for their unpredictability. So do not trust the forecasts a 100%, especially not several days in advance. The forecast for the day before though is usually fairly accurate!  

Remember to always give yourself a window when planning your tours. You dont want to get caught in a blizzard whilst in high mountain terrain. Visit www.yr.no for daily updated forecasts

In this Guest book, you will find some useful information including directions, check-in information, and recommended activities so you can make the most of your time here.

We don't have a reception on site, so we have a self-check-in service.

You will receive a cabin number and keycode between 14.45 and 15.00 on the day of arrival.

Please check your junk/spam folder if you appear not to have received it.

  • Check-in time is after 15.00
  • Check-out time is before 10.30

Please note that we don't offer transfers or shuttle services, so we highly recommend renting a car. We're about 1.5 hours from Tromsø, and having your own transport will make your trip smoother.

WIFI -There is complimentary WiFi at the cabins however due to the rural location it may be a lot slower than you are used to. 

The connection can be very unstable and in extreme weather conditions, it may stop.  

Unfortunately, the nearest engineers are over 2.5 hours away, and although we do try to monitor the connection we hope you understand that often an outage is outside of our control. We hope the magnificent view makes up for any loss of service.
