Just a heads up—we don't offer transfers or shuttle services, so we highly recommend renting a car for your trip. We're about 1.5 hours from Tromsø, and having your own transport will make things much easier and more enjoyable.
Our cabins are about 11 km from the village of Lyngseidet, where you'll find the nearest stores for food and supplies.
Buses are pretty scarce in this area, so it's best to plan accordingly.

If you travel with public transport, you’ll need to arrange a taxi or private transfer to reach the cabins from the village. You can contact Taxi Lyngseidet at +47 777 10 310.
**Driving Tips:**
The roads around here are generally well-maintained, and snow ploughs regularly clear the main routes. Just remember that winter tires are required by law, and although driving in snowy conditions might seem a bit daunting at first, you’ll quickly get the hang of it!
In Norway, we drive on the right side, and you’ll need to keep your headlights on at all times. Also, the roads in the north can be quite narrow, so be prepared to share them with pedestrians, cyclists, and occasionally, some friendly reindeer, moose, or sheep.
**Top Tip:**
Don’t forget to set aside some time to de-ice and clear snow from your vehicle before heading out. This little prep work will save you valuable time, especially on the day you’re heading back!.
