If you are ski touring in the Norwegian mountains, you need to download the Varsom app from App Store or Google Play.

In the app you will find avalanche forecasts in addition to terrain maps and topographic maps for offline use. Make sure to download your maps before starting your trip, as cell phone reception in the mountains may be poor or non-existent.

Test our web-based version of the app on beta.regobs.no. It has slope maps and maps of avalanche runout zones.

In this Guest book, you will find some useful information including directions, check-in information, and recommended activities so you can make the most of your time here.

We don't have a reception on site, so we have a self-check-in service.

You will receive a cabin number and keycode between 14.45 and 15.00 on the day of arrival.

Please check your junk/spam folder if you appear not to have received it.

  • Check-in time is after 15.00
  • Check-out time is before 10.30

Please note that we don't offer transfers or shuttle services, so we highly recommend renting a car. We're about 1.5 hours from Tromsø, and having your own transport will make your trip smoother.

WIFI -There is complimentary WiFi at the cabins however due to the rural location it may be a lot slower than you are used to. 

The connection can be very unstable and in extreme weather conditions, it may stop.  

Unfortunately, the nearest engineers are over 2.5 hours away, and although we do try to monitor the connection we hope you understand that often an outage is outside of our control. We hope the magnificent view makes up for any loss of service.
