Each cabin is equipped with a small stove for your use.

Stove Top Safety Feature (Annoying Beep or Stove Stops Working).

Due to strict safety regulations in Norway, the stove and cooker have a built-in system to prevent fires. Occasionally, this system may cause the stove or cooker to stop working.

If this happens, follow these steps:

1. Locate the small silver or white box above the stove on the extractor hood and try resetting it.

2. If this doesn't work, go to the main fuse box in the hallway. Find the fuse marked **F3 VVB** and turn it off, then back on. This will reset the stove and override the safety system.

These steps should usually resolve the issue.

We don't have a reception on site, so we have a self-check-in service.

You will receive a cabin number and keycode between 14.45 and 15.00 on the day of arrival.

Please check your junk/spam folder if you appear not to have received it.

  • Check-in time is after 15.00
  • Check-out time is before 10.30

Please note that we don't offer transfers or shuttle services, so we highly recommend renting a car. We're about 1.5 hours from Tromsø, and having your own transport will make your trip smoother.

WIFI -There is complimentary WiFi at the cabins however due to the rural location it may be a lot slower than you are used to. 

The connection can be very unstable and in extreme weather conditions, it may stop.  

Unfortunately, the nearest engineers are over 2.5 hours away, and although we do try to monitor the connection we hope you understand that often an outage is outside of our control. We hope the magnificent view makes up for any loss of service.
