Alcohol Laws are VERY strict in Norway

Due to strict alcohol laws in Norway you can only buy wine or spirits from the Vinmonopolet and not the supermarkets. The Vimonopolet is open for limited times a week.

The nearest Vinmonopolet is in the COOP supermarket in Lyngseidet.

Please note that we are unable to sell our own Bivrost products directly from the Distillery.

While supermarkets do sell beer and cider, they can only be purchased within specific hours.

On weekdays, alcohol sales stop at 20:00, and on Saturdays, they stop at 18:00. Keep this in mind when planning your purchases.

You cannot buy alcohol on a Sunday.

In this Guest book, you will find some useful information including directions, check-in information, and recommended activities so you can make the most of your time here.

We don't have a reception on site, so we have a self-check-in service.

You will receive a cabin number and keycode between 14.45 and 15.00 on the day of arrival.

Please check your junk/spam folder if you appear not to have received it.

  • Check-in time is after 15.00
  • Check-out time is before 10.30

Please note that we don't offer transfers or shuttle services, so we highly recommend renting a car. We're about 1.5 hours from Tromsø, and having your own transport will make your trip smoother.

WIFI -There is complimentary WiFi at the cabins however due to the rural location it may be a lot slower than you are used to. 

The connection can be very unstable and in extreme weather conditions, it may stop.  

Unfortunately, the nearest engineers are over 2.5 hours away, and although we do try to monitor the connection we hope you understand that often an outage is outside of our control. We hope the magnificent view makes up for any loss of service.
